Builders Beyond Borders ("B3") provides high school students the opportunity to engage in humanitarian service, strengthen their awareness of diverse cultures, and develop a lifelong commitment to helping others by participating in construction projects to benefit impoverished communities throughout the world.
The philosophy is simple. In order to help create a better world, we must first understand one another -- and to understand, we must live, work, and play together.
Builders Beyond Borders seeks to promote cooperation and understanding of people of different backgrounds and cultures.
Participants in Builders Beyond Borders:
- give of themselves to help others
- build character and values
- work together in the spirit of cooperation
- share their differences AND their similarities
- learn about service
2009 Trip Information is available on the UPCOMING TRIPS page.
